The Echo Loop is a smart ring, designed to work with Alexa, Amazon’s voice assistant, and the company’s line of smart home products. Just like a wedding band or conventional ring, the Echo Loop is meant to be worn on your finger—which hand you choose doesn’t matter.
While the Loop has most of its functionality built-in, you’ll need to use the Amazon Alexa app to alter settings and sync up with the ring in certain ways. This is an important distinction to make because it means in addition to the ring, you need access to a supported mobile device or smartphone.
