Disney released a new character poster for Marvel’s What If…? season finale episode, featuring a never-before-seen Gamora design and costume.
A new promotional poster for the final episode of Season 1 of Marvel Studio’s What If…? has been released, showing an alternate version of Guardians Of The Galaxy’s Gamora. What If…? is an animated anthology series releasing weekly on Disney+ following alternate timelines of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and narrated by the cosmic being Uatu The Watcher. The ninth and final episode of the show’s first season (title still unknown) is set to release this week and promises to be a thrilling conclusion.
As has been the case each week, Marvel waited until days before the episode airs to reveal the character taking center stage in this particular story. Gamora appeared on the show’s first big poster but has yet to be seen in the actual series. Now it seems she will finally join the battle, and she’s never been more needed. Following the shocking events of season 1, episode 8, “What If… Ultron Won?,” it’s looking likely that The Watcher is going to revisit all of Season 1’s separate heroes and recruit them to battle Ultron, who has gained the power of the infinity stones and threatens the entire multiverse.
