A WandaVision fan has created a brutal TikTok about Wanda Maximoff’s grief over losing Vision. Elizabeth Olsen has been playing Wanda in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron. In her first appearance, Wanda and her fraternal twin brother, Pietro (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), are introduced as Sokovian natives who joined HYDRA and agreed to undergo experiments due to a deep-seated hatred for Tony Stark. To avenge their parents’ death, the pair briefly join Ultron before realizing his genocidal intentions. Ultimately, Wanda and Pietro join the Avengers in the battle to stop Ultron, which results in Pietro’s tragic death.
Following the events of Age of Ultron, Wanda is relocated to the United States and continues working with the Avengers. As explained in Disney+’s WandaVision, Vision (Paul Bettany) — whose body was originally intended for Ultron — is there for Wanda as she mourns Pietro. Following the events of Captain America: Civil War, Wanda and Vision run away together, and, in Avengers: Infinity War, it’s revealed that they’ve fallen in love. Unfortunately, Wanda, and then Thanos, destroy the Mind Stone in Vision’s head, resulting in his death. WandaVision sees Wanda use the town of Westview to create an idyllic life in which she can live happily ever after with Vision in a false reality that cannot last.
