Mayim Bialik reveals that she suffered from high levels of anxiety while filming The Big Bang Theory. The Blossom actress played Amy Farrah Fowler in the hit CBS sitcom until it wrapped up two years ago after 12 seasons. Despite the show’s lightheartedness, Bialik, apparently, had a difficult time working on it, especially when she couldn’t seem to perform a certain way.
Originally featuring only five main characters — Sheldon (Jim Parsons), Leonard (Johnny Galecki), Penny (Kaley Cuoco), Howard (Simon Helberg), and Raj (Kunal Nayyar) – the cast of The Big Bang Theory expanded by season 4 with the addition of Amy and Bernadette (Melissa Rauch). Since then, Bialik became an integral part of the show as she developed a romance with Sheldon. Eventually, the pair tied the knot, and by the sitcom’s finale, they won the Nobel Prize in Physics for their work on Super Asymmetry. Subsequently, Young Sheldon revealed that the couple is still going strong in the future; they even confirmed that they have a son named Leonard Cooper.
