The 24th SCAD Savannah Film Festival is off to a star-studded start.
The annual fest, which will be held in person and virtually this year from Oct. 23-30, announced its honorees and screening schedule on Friday.
This year, SCAD will honor Kenneth Branagh with the Lifetime Achievement Award for Acting and Directing for Belfast, which will kick off the event with the opening-night Gala Screening. The festival will culminate with the closing-night Gala Screening of King Richard with Aunjanue Ellis, who will be honored with this year's Outstanding Achievement in Cinema Award. Centerpiece Gala C'mon C'mon will screen on Oct. 27 with director and writer Mike Mills recieving this year's Auteur Award.
