NBCUniversal’s Peacock is a new streaming service that offers a wide array of movies and TV shows from NBC and Universal’s abundant library, as well as original programming. Peacock starts off as a free service with ads, but if you can watch even more if you move to one of the paid Premium plans.
Peacock provides two paid options. For $4.99 a month, Peacock Premium unlocks all of the content on the service, including movies, TV shows, and live sports, but retains the ads. For $9.99 a month, Peacock Premium Plus unlocks everything and jettisons the advertisements. Both options kick off with a free seven-day trial.
Let’s say you did upgrade to one of the two Premium plans but aren’t happy with the offerings. You can cancel your paid subscription and revert back to the freebie. The process is the same whether you’re still on the 7-day trial or have already started paying for the service. Here’s how it works.
