Marvel Studios debuts a new clip for Black Widow announcing that the film will begin streaming on Disney+ for all users on Wednesday. The first film installment in Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe centered on Scarlett Johansson’s titular protagonist following the events of Captain America: Civil War as she goes on the run and must confront the demons of her past. Alongside Johansson, the cast for the film included Florence Pugh, David Harbour, O-T Fagbenle, Olga Kurylenko, William Hurt, Ray Winstone and Rachel Weisz.

Following numerous delays in its release schedule due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Black Widow was released simultaneously in theaters and on Disney+ with the Premier Access charge. The film would break multiple box office performances and gross over $378 million worldwide, becoming the sixth-highest-grossing film of the year, though would also become infamous for the recently settled lawsuit Johansson brought against Disney over the film’s release model.
